Absolutely love this carrier! My cat loves playing in it as if it's a tunnel which really helped him get used to it for when we needed to use it as a carrier. We took him on a short holiday and the carrier became his familiar product which he would often go back to for comfort. It is well made, has lots of storage pockets for treats and his leash. And it is comfortable to wear on your back, it doesn't warp. My cat is a big boy, weighing around 6.8kg, and it didn't feel heavy on my back. Lots of access options for your pet! And love the interlocking zips for further ease of mind that my cat can't escape!
Do not buy this product- it is not safe!!! I purchased it in November 24 but only just used it for the first time today April 25 to take my cat to the vet. When I was bringing him home in it the side zip broke and opened when he leaned into it. He is 5kg so well within the specified weight range for the product. Luckily I had the carrier on my front and caught him before he fell out . This was on a busy street so I could easily have lost him. The zips are obviously of very poor quality. Do not waste your money but more importantly don’t risk the safety of your pet!
We ordered the blue one a couple of weeks ago to test with our cats. Although reluctant to get inside at first, once in they looked comfortable and, I hope, safe. The backpack came in handy on several occasions when out on walks. Usually it's when we encounter large dogs and screaming banshees that we pick up the cats and place them in the backpack before they bolted. Satisfied that the backpack was indeed useful and very sturdy for our 3.9kg and 4.5kg cats we proceeded to purchase the grey one. Happy to report that it has the same sturdy frame and comfort. The only difference is that the grey one has a water bottle holder while the blue one doesn't. It is of no consequence to us as we can easily attach a water bottle using a carabiner to the waist strap of the blue backpack. In summation, we can take the cats on longer and more challenging walks, letting them out to walk where it's safer.
This backpack is a game changer! We have a 9kg dog who has really sore paws and can't walk much but loves being out, we have tried everything, boots, socks, a million medications from the vets and various other ways of carrying him, none of which work.Well this backpack has changed our lives, he hops in the side door for a treat, hook him on to the leash and he sits happily with his head poking out of the top door looking at the world. The straps around the waist and chest really help alleviate the weight, especially as he's at the higher end of the usable weight for the carrier, but I'm only 5ft 4 and I can happily carry him without feeling too much strain.The solid platform that he sits on is sturdy but not heavy and the pockets are great for carrying treats and water bottles etc.Honestly, this carrier has changed all of our lives, our dog can now go on the long walks we all love, but just be taken out until he's had enough. Thank you so much to the people that designed this pet carrier, you've given him his quality of life back again!
